About Mark

Five decades of hands-on experience

My journey started at age 15 assembling and repairing bicycles at Smith Bicycle Center in Berkley, Michigan. Over the years, I worked on classic British sports cars including MG, Triumph, and Jaguar, spent years as an industrial salesman specializing in machinery and tooling, and operated my own foreign car repair shop where I honed my welding abilities to keep vehicles safely on the road.

With over 50 years of hands-on mechanical and welding experience, I bring dedicated craftsmanship to every small welding and fabrication job right here in New Baltimore, Michigan.

Done right the first time

I am semi-retired, and I like to keep busy doing what I love. But riding large motorcycles is dependent on the Michigan weather. Because I operate independently without the rush of a big production facility, a job will not leave my bench until it is done right. I focus on small welding, custom fabrication, and light mechanical repairs that larger shops often turn away.

Clear communication and practical solutions

I pride myself on being an attentive listener and easy to talk to. Customers often tell me I sound like a radio announcer on the phone! You can text or email me a photo of your broken part or project, and I will gladly provide a ballpark estimate or at least suggest smart, cost-effective alternatives. Reach out Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

"Mark took the time to listen, looked at photos of my broken bracket, and had it welded better than new the very next day. You cannot beat 50 years of experience."
